The Epic Fight Against Child Violence
Sunday, December 5, 2010 8:34 AM

Surely, all of us witnessed how our favorite cartoon characters invaded Facebook.
And I am one hundred percent sure that most of us changed our profile pictures to participate in the campaign or maybe, just for the heck of it. :))
I am pretty sure that most, if not all, of us know why the invasion happened but for those who don't have any idea, it will be my pleasure to help you. B-) We changed our profile pictures to join the fight against child violence.

Sesame Street ! :">
Yessir, that's my profile picture for a couple of days although the characters are not really my favorite. I just remembered that I used to play Sesame Street in our play station all the time. (Yes, big play station pa. :P) I want to make Piglet or Bananas in Pajamas or Popeye my profile picture but lots of people already made them their profile pictures already so I ended up making Sesame Street my profile picture. :|:))

Seriously, it's cool seeing cartoon characters all over Facebook. But seeing bruised, wounded or even dead children is definitely not cool.

That's why we should help fight against child violence.
The Facebook cartoon character invasion was epic.
Not because we didn't see human faces for a couple of days, not because the cartoon characters made Facebook look adorable and not because we had the chance to reminisce our childhood.
The invasion was epic because it proved that lots of people actually care. :>

For the little ones who experienced too much pain at a very young age,
For the kids who cried not because of broken toys, but because of broken bones,
For the cute angels who were tortured by sadistic demons,
For the innocent children who didn't have the chance to have a beautiful life,
this heart is for all of you!
